Beyond Harvest MoonWhere earthly were you ebb twilight, my love?
Envisioning your presence, stargazing above,
Reclined, closed my eyes, felt your mythical kiss,
Long awaited awareness, the breath of true bliss,

Air brush of your lips and my soul began reeling,
The caress of your hair, my heart you were stealing,
Your soft, warm embrace then ending love's roam,
A heartfelt concurrence, both knew we were home,

Then opened my eyes, I knew you were seeming,
Though under the stars you bond with me dreaming,
Know passions will gain us when time's opportune,
Quintessence coalescing beyond Harvest Moon.

CountenanceAs the sun calmly set
and we strolled along the boardwalk
losing ourselves in the pavement
that passed slowly beneath us,
a sideward glimpse avowed
the most delicate content I'd ever seen,
and in that instance I knew,
there's no one else for me.
And as you softly slid your hand into mine
and our fingers inherently entwined,
two lingering souls had reconciled,
and all I could think was
it's just like a poem.

Recipe For A BlessingTake just five feet of clear blue sky, be sure to size it right,

Alien LoveOne night on the verge of a seeming heart broken,
You wait and you wait and no word's ever spoken,

Love Depends Upon ItTrue love transcends the boundaries of physical intimacy and presence, and requires neither to endure. It hinges upon truth and trust. It's about resolute sincerity. It's about always being someone that your friend and companion can turn to and unquestionably believe in, even when it hurts. Without that, even the seemingly best relationship's little more than a deficient and inadequate charade.

Hi and thanks for stopping by. My name's Brian.

I currently reside in the excessively sunny state of Florida, but couldn't tell you why. It's nearly as hot as my keyboard, and unless November to January, I can barely stand to go outside. Considering I've been retired for years and nothing's holding me here, I foresee a northern move in my future. At least to the Carolina mountains. I want to build a snowman ... okay, a beloved snow-woman.

I've never been wedlocked, have no kids, and having happily made it this far without trying to own another human being the rest is beyond cake. It's icing. deviantART's enjoyed me as a member since January 2009, and I'm a man of art from many parts. Three of my favorites are photography, writing and computer graphics, of which you may have determined by now.
